Progression Support

Our Progression Support programme helps those engaged with our Creative Health activities, to use their increased wellbeing, confidence, and skills as a springboard into work, education, volunteering, or increased community activity. The majority of our services remain free at point of access though eligibility criteria may apply.

Support typically involves regular 1-1 meetings with an Orb Keyworker alongside group development sessions. Support can include:

  • Support to access and engage with Orb’s Creative Programme
  • Exploring opportunities for increased community activity, volunteering, education, and paid employment
  • Referral, signposting, and brokered engagement to access opportunities or other services
  • Practical support with CV writing, job search, and interview skills
  • 1-1 and group activities in life skills and self-care
  • Practical support with key competencies including numeracy, literacy, and digital skills
  • Practical support to overcome barriers to progression
  • In-work pastoral support to maintain employment
